If We Lost Everything Today…

If We Lost Everything Today…

Subject: If we lost everything today, how would we get back on our feet?

The bank holiday weekend is now upon us as we dive headlong into May.

Goodness knows what the new month will bring. That is outside of our control. What we can all do is start to fight back, find ways to make more income, and to help others get back on their feet (those who want to that is – the ones whose get up and go hasn’t got up and gone).

As some of you know, we started with Utility Warehouse way back in 2004 We joined because we ended up with nothing, after losing our conventional business. We managed to rent a cheap 2-bedroom asbestos-lined shack in the middle of a 400-acre forest in Hampshire, with 5 kids, 2 dogs and a budgie.

In order to get money for the weekly shop, I dug gardens, and Karen cleaned houses. At night, I drove a taxi, because I was allowed to keep it to get the kids to school etc., provided I was on call for airport runs 24/7.

We knew nothing about telecoms, and the company at that time had little to offer apart from a box that you plugged into your phone to probably get cheaper calls. But it was either make a go of it, or go hungry, so it had to work, and we had to work it. Karen thought I was bonkers, especially when we got our first commission for a month’s work. It was 69p. However, that encouraged us considerably. That 69p was going to come in every month, so all we had to do was get more of them.

From that point it took us 5 years to become an overnight success. We built a team of 25,000 wonderful distributors, and it gave us a wonderful lifestyle.

We retired from there a few years ago with a very nice residual income, which by the looks of it is going to rise yet again due to the huge energy rises, and the fact that we have over 150,000 customers.  So now we spend our time giving back, for everything that we have.

I also can’t stop myself from researching creative ways of making income. I love it – there is so much money sloshing about in this world, and you just have to put yourself out there and get it. No, I am not talking about cryptocurrency, affiliate marketing or anything like that. I am looking at it from the basis that if we lost everything, and had no money whatsoever to invest in online schemes, what we would do to get back on our feet.

We are going to be sharing those ways over the next month. We would also love feedback, as I don’t have all the answers, and there are a thousand ways that I haven’t thought about. Feel free to comment on this post.

So enjoy the bank holiday and we’ll see you on the other side!

Knowledge combined with experience is EVERYTHING you need in your chosen business field.Trevor & Karen have SHEDLOADS of both, but what makes them special in this arena is their ability to strip out the bits that matter and present them in such a way that the learned cycle is quicker and less complicated. If only I had known them prior to engaging in business - it would have shaved years off of my learning ! Can't recommend them highly enough!

The Blakes did a great job of getting me sorted with my local advertising. A lot of it was free, and I never knew about it, so on that basis, 10 out of 10
